Portrait Photography is one of my very favourite styles of photography to shoot – especially of children. I remember as a child being taken to the Sears store in Calgary on 16th Avenue at North Hill Mall as a child to have my portrait taken. It is a very different style of photography in this day in age and while there are some portrait studios that still exist – I find that portrait has taken a new turn in their evolution. Some people still really like a basic, school picture style of portrait captured by a photographer while others desire more of a creative and authentic picture of their child or loved one.
I have spent the last 10 years working on perfecting the art of portraiture to grow Suzanne Taylor Photography and I have been fortunate to also win and place in several amazing photography competitions along the way for portraiture.
