Lacombe’s Artistique Gymnastics Professional Team Photography Shoot 2018

On February 10th, Suzanne Taylor Photography travelled to the City of Lacombe to capture an inspiring group of young ladies that excel in their sport – gymnastics. When you search “Lacombe Gymnastics” in Google – one of the top hits is Lacombe’s Artistique Gymnastics – a gymnastics provider whom we have made our home for the past year with my girls. They have loved being part of the Artistique Gymnastics family and I was just as thrilled this year to be the photographer for the 2018 Competitive Teams. It was a sincere pleasure to photograph so many strong, beautiful girls and get to know each of them as we moved through the morning and into the afternoon.

What we ended up capturing were image of Strength, Poise, Fun and Beauty from all 38 Athletes. These photos embody empowerment and grace and are the piller of self-esteem for every young lady captured that day.

Finally – almost two weeks later, ~260 images have been hand edited and presented to you in both colour and Black and White for your total image option. I love how the images converted into Black and White and they have a very different feel than the colour images – perfectly fit for high impact and amazing presentation.

Now, before you dive into the Artistique Gymnastics gallery, I have a few notes and instructions for you!
!!!PLEASE READ!!!

1) There is ONE gallery for all of the Athletes that Suzanne Taylor Photography photographed. The photographs are presented in the order they were taken in with all of the individual images presented AFTER the group photographs.

2) At the end of the photographic day, Suzanne Taylor Photography photographed some of the Senior Competitive Girls Fine Art style. This was not open to all of the athletes due to time constraints, however, Suzanne Taylor Photography is available for private photographic bookings, including Fine Art Gymnastic Photography. If you are interested in booking a session for your child, please email me at hello@suzannetaylorphotography.com. If there is enough interest in holding a Fine Art Photography workshop where several kids will be getting Fine Art images captured, the session fee will be reduced per parent! We can make this happen!

3) To the PARENTS of the SENIOR GIRLS COMPETITIVE THAT STAYED FOR FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY:

There is a series of photos of each girl clapping together chalk dust. I have only edited the first photo to give you a preview of what the image will look like once the photos are ordered. Your child’s photo will be edited like the first image is with chalk dust, however, they each take about an hour to complete. I would rather have your individual order and do the very best job possible than do a poor preview of each girl and you not fall completely in love with it!
ALSO
While I did my best to capture each athlete while I was there that day, some athletes have more individual pictures than others. Several factors were present as to the reason for that – mostly that it was at the very end of a busy day and some girls were more tired than others – or needing to leave sooner. My job as an international award winning professional photographer is to only show you the best of the best, not the extras that didn’t make the cut for several reasons (funny faces, closed eyes, etc.). If you would like to book a new time for either the gym or outside (especially Gull Lake or in a meadowed area), please let me know.

4) You will be asked for your email to view the gallery. You will not be added to my mailing list unless you want to (but it is pretty easy peasy to log out of later if you decide to and then wish to unsubscribe). Your email will be tracked along with your purchase so that I can reference your order easily in the future for ordering.

5) I am offering five different photography options that my business, Suzanne Taylor Photography offers to all of her portrait customers. I also have created some packages of these fantastic professional products you will be able to choose from when you are ready to order!

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY PRODUCTS:

Prints – archival quality images printed professionally on Fuji Paper

Digitals – digital images to share and create images for friends and family with no personal limits

Metal Prints – professional prints directly onto aluminum. Samples are currently on location at Artistique Gymnastics at the front desk.

Stand Out Prints – photographic prints mounted directly onto foam core with black edging for a beautiful presentation. The Competitive Team image on Dar’s wall from 2017 above the seating area at the Artistique Gymnastics Club is a Stand Out Print (for reference).

Canvas – images printed directly onto canvas stretched over a hardwood frame.

All of the products that Suzanne Taylor Photography sell are of the highest quality that is available to professional photographers in North America. All of the images captured during the Artistique Gymnastics photography shoot will be represented beautifully and will be made to last for many generations to come.

6) The individual images were created with your child in mind first off. They were all allowed to demonstrate a skill (if they wanted to) that they felt they did great. Please support these efforts and be proud of them when viewing the images. There are also other images included of them with friends & siblings that were VERY important to each of the girls who requested them. Please review them carefully with your kids because it is one of the biggest moments capture on film for them in their lives so far.

7) All orders over 299 will include free shipping* – so please don’t hesitate to invest in the visual work that your child has invested hours practicing to the best of their abilities. The code for this is FREEARTISTIQUE and MUST be entered at the time of purchase.

8) Please do NOT screenshot, copy, share or rip the photos in the gallery. I have been a professional photographer for over 11 years now and sadly have even had dear friends do this. All of my images are protected under Canadian Federal Copyright Laws and illegally saving the photos presented to you without permission is Against the Law and can be prosecuted in Court. I sadly need to add this to my digital sales now due to the actions of a few past customers and I really appreciate your adherence to this point.

9) All orders MUST be in by March 1st.
