A Very Beautiful Calgary Maternity Photography Session

It is always a special honor for me whenever someone from Calgary wants to hire me to do a session for them.  I am not local – but also do not charge to come down to Calgary to do a session ever.  This helps me bring my art to a whole new community every time I get the chance to book new customers and I appreciate it so much.  I was very lucky to have one of these beautiful ladies contact me in order to capture some images for them and what we created was a very special Calgary Maternity photography session.

Adorable Little Girl Alert!

When I met Kelly and Erin I knew instantly that the session was going to be just gorgeous.  They are both beautiful women who had the most adorable little girl dressed in a red pea coat and white hat and had the most luxurious eyelashes.  I love long eyelashes on kids and little Ms. B had all that a little girl could ask for!  Little Ms. B also had an amazing little sled that Mommy Erin pulled her all around in and she LOVED every second of it.  The real fun started though when she tried to start pulling it herself – what a little trooper through all of that snow!  She did a great job considering how little she is and worked a shift being such a big girl during her parents Calgary maternity session.

Fresh Snow and Contrasting Colors

We captured there session down at Bowness park on a very snowy afternoon.  We were not expecting a ton of snow in where I live, so I had no hesitation to journey down to Calgary in order to capture this beautiful Calgary maternity session.  It all changed though when I got to Airdrie, AB and the snow seemed to quadruple in volume falling from the sky.  It was amazing how fluffy and beautiful it was – and how slippery the roads were.  I safely made it though and all that snow made for the most delicate and refreshing blanket over the City of Calgary.  There is nothing really like fresh snow on evergreens and unspoiled white everywhere.  The colors that Kelly and Erin selected for the day as well were just perfect against the snow and added so much to their Calgary maternity shoot – everything was perfect.

On Becoming a Big Sister

So the most exciting part about this story that I have barely touched on yet is that Little Ms. B is going to be a big sister!  Kelly and Erin are expecting a little girl in a few months which I will be SO EXCITED to photograph in a few months from now when she is born through my Suzanne Taylor Photography Belly to Baby Plan.  I saw so much love and spirit within this family I have no doubt that she will be loved and adored and dressed to the hilt as she grows and grows like all babies do.
